July 20 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm$25
Lulu’s Farm and the Adams County CSU Extension Office are excited to launch a series of classes on food safety and food preservation to help you maximize enjoyment of seasonal produce and the art of preserving.
Making Pickles: If you enjoy a crisp pickle as a snack or along with a sandwich, come learn how to make your own. Learn the basic science and food safety best practices of the pickling process to produce a flavorful pickle. Attendees will leave with a jar of pickles to enjoy later, and the knowledge and recipes to make more at home safely. Class is limited to 15 participants.
Call (303) 659-3300 to register and pay the $25 class fee. Advance registration is required, just clicking “going” on event listing does not count!
