Lulu’s Farm and the Adams County CSU Extension Office are excited to launch a series of classes on food safety and food preservation to help you maximize enjoyment of seasonal produce and the art of preserving.
Making and Canning Pepper Jellies: Sweet and spicy peppered jelly is a Colorado favorite that’s wonderful both as a condiment and as an ingredient in sauces, marinades, and more. Learn how to confidently create your own peppered jellies and the water bath canning process, to preserve them. Attendees will leave with a jar of delicious pepper jelly to enjoy later, and the knowledge and recipes to make more at home safely. Class is limited to 15 participants.
Call (303) 659-3300 to register and pay the $25 class fee. Advance registration is required, just clicking “going” on event listing does not count!
