Making and Canning Fruit Butters: This class covers selecting the right ingredients, the importance of a research-based recipe, and the process involved in caramelizing the sugars in fresh fruit to make your own thick fruit paste that spreads like butter on toast. Attendees will leave with a jar of freshly canned fruit butter to enjoy later, and the knowledge and recipes to make more at home safely. Class is limited to 15 participants.

Save the date! Classes in the series are Saturday mornings beginning at 10:30 and run three hours, unless otherwise noted, and limited to 12-15 participants depending upon the class.
