Brighton Chile Fest is a one day event at Lulu’s Farm (located at Highway 85 and 144th Avenue in Brighton, Colorado) that’s literally all about chiles, and tons of fun for all ages!
Enjoy the biggest selection of fresh roasted chiles in the region! Pre-order your chiles by the full or half-bushel, and we can have them ready for you to pick up, or order on site, and we’ll roast them while you enjoy the festival, and let you know when they are ready. We start roasting at 6 AM so it’s the perfect opportunity to stock up.
And of course, it wouldn’t be the Chile Fest without being able to sample and learn about chiles! Don’t be shy… this is your chance to ask our Chile Expert any questions you may have about chiles—working with them, making salsas, which peppers are best for what kind of recipes, etc.
Sample a wide variety of specialty and gourmet foods, sauces, jams, and jellies you’ll only find at Lulu’s.
The Brighton Chile Fest is tons of fun for all ages
Back by popular demand, enjoy a high energy mix of country and classic rock ‘n roll with Narrow Gauge. They are Denver’s three-time consecutive winner (2017-2019) of Wedding Wire’s “Couples’ Choice Award”.
The younger attendees will have fun in the kids’ fun zone, hanging out at the Barr Lake State Park t-shirt coloring station, a jump house, face painting, and more! And the whole family can stop by the Kindness Rocks Project station (sponsored by BrightonCO Rocks) and paint a rock or two to hide around the community to help spread some joy. Kids activities are free, though both Barr Lake State Park and BrightonCO Rocks do accept donations if you feel inclined.
The shopper in you will enjoy wandering among the exhibits of artisan crafted items and unique locally sourced and manufactured merchandise vendors.
And what would a festival be without delicious offerings from popular food trucks to delight your taste buds. We’ve got a rock star line-up of trucks that will tickle your savory and sweet taste buds. And of course, you can’t have an event at Lulu’s without our hospitality tent offering a variety of delicious libations including locally brewed craft beers, craft cocktails, and more! A percentage of the hospitality proceeds supports our non-profit partner Brighton Legacy Foundation, providing grant funding for a number of local non-profit organizations.
